The project is a collaborative effort among law enforcement agencies to combat breast cancer, said Norwalk Police Lt. Terrance Blake.
According to Blake, the department and association will work with the Norwalk Hospital Smilow Family Breast Health Center during October to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research and treatment.
During the effort, Norwalk officers will be pink patches on their uniforms, as well as selling the patches for $10 to donate to the cause.
